NON-VIABLE TAPE-LIFT AND BULK SAMPLE ANALYSIS:
Analysis includes the identification of and categorization of mould present on a section of suspect contaminated material. The concentrations are expressed as general numbers (1 = Trace amount of fungi, 2= Small amount of growth, 3 = Moderate growth and 4 = Heavy growth).
NON-VIABLE AIR SAMPLE (TOTAL SPORE COUNT) ANALYSIS:
Samples include Air-O-Cell, VersaTrap Sampling, SKC BioStage, SKC Bio Cassettes, LARO-100, Micro 5, Cyclex D, and other applicable cassettes. The analysis includes spore counting and identification of different categories of mould spores present. The report will include raw spore counts and totals for each individual or category of mould identified as spores per cubic centimeter of air.
VIABLE (CULTURABLE) ANALYSIS:
This includes identification and count of the colony forming units (CFU) present in each sample and the identification of moulds to genus or species. Samples may include RCS air samples, Andersen air samples, viable swab samples, bulk samples, or any other media suitable for culture analysis. The report includes a list of identified moulds and their concentration in colony forming units (CFU).
